About the Tour
The tour will be taking place in 5 cities and 5 countries including the USA. The first stop will be Toronto, Canada on June 1, 2014. The second stop will be in Moscow, Russia on June 28, 2014, which will then be followed by a concert in the small city of Kampala, Uganda on July 8, 2014. The final international concert will be in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, on July 20, 2014. Kendrick finishes his world tour back in his home city of Compton, where he will perform his final concert on August 1, 2014. Almost all profits of this tour will be going to the Habitat for Humanity charity to build as many homes as possible in the developing countries where he is touring. Also, he would like to use some of the money raised to help rebuild Compton from a drug infested city to a new business like town. When asked, Kendrick said he doesn't know how much it will take to get Compton to the level of other surrounding cities. He did say that a start is more than nothing, and that is all he plans to do. He doesn't want to do it all on his own, but more so help the people realize that.
Although this tour is meant only to help people internationally, there are some restrictions. People under the age of 18 need an adult to accompany them to the concert. This is because of the vulgar language that Kendrick uses often in his music. If you are over 18, an ID card will be needed before you can enter the concert.
The tour will be promoted using billboards, news papers, TV ads, and much more. Also, t-shirts will be created with Kendrick on the front saying "It's a start." This is his motto for the tour and the shirts will be a symbol of his attempt to aid in housing the homeless and to help thousands of people. Shirts will be sold for $5 at all concert sites.

About Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for humanity is a nonprofit organization who's mission is to build and repair houses for people with inadequate shelter to live in. The charity is not for building mansions and making quality over quantity. Quality is very important, but it is more important to build many simple houses for people in need that can last a life time. Habitat for Humanity recently repaired/built its 500,000th house which is huge milestone. The wish is that in 20 years or less they will have over a million houses they have made adequate living spaces for people who had desperately needed them. During this tour, the charity will help repair many houses in the developing countries Kendrick is performing in.
